Human - Object Interaction


Capture detailed interactions between people, tools and everyday or industrial objects. Props can be tracked independently to preserve their position and orientation alongside the performer’s movement.

How a Custom Dataset Project Works


1. Define the Application

We discuss the intended model, robot, validation problem or research question, together with the required movements and outputs.

2. Design the Protocol

We define the performers, actions, objects, repetitions, variations, capture modalities and quality-control criteria.

3. Run a Pilot Capture

A small representative dataset is recorded to test the protocol, technical configuration and delivery structure.

4. Review and Refine

The pilot is evaluated with your technical team. Actions, labels, outputs or capture conditions can then be adjusted.

5. Scale the Dataset

Following approval, the protocol can be expanded into a larger structured capture programme.

6. Process and Deliver

Data is processed to the agreed level, checked and organised according to the approved specification.
